Terms & Conditions
Last updated:
These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of kampatourism.com and to the escorted journeys, tailor-made trips and ground services booked with KAMPA Tours & Events (“KAMPA”, “we”, “us”). By requesting a proposal or confirming a booking you accept these Terms. The written proposal for your journey forms part of your contract with us; where it differs from these Terms, the proposal applies.
1. About KAMPA

2. Information on this website
Itineraries, hotels, photographs and seasonal information on this website are provided in good faith and may change. Journeys are priced per departure, group size, hotel category and season, so no price shown or implied on the website is binding until it is confirmed in a written proposal.
3. Proposals and bookings
After you send us your dates and group details, we prepare a written proposal with the itinerary, named hotels, what is included and not included, the price, the payment schedule and the cancellation terms.
Your booking is confirmed when you accept the proposal in writing and we receive the deposit stated in it. We then send a written confirmation.
The balance is due by the date stated in the proposal. If it is not received on time, we may treat the booking as cancelled by you and apply the cancellation terms.
The person who makes the booking confirms that they are authorised to accept these Terms on behalf of everyone in the booking and that the traveller details they provide are correct.
4. Prices and what is included
Each proposal lists exactly what the price includes — typically hotel nights, domestic flights, transfers, site and museum entries, the meals stated and an English- or French-speaking guide — and what it does not include, such as international flights, meals not stated, visas, travel insurance, tips, personal expenses and optional excursions. Once a booking is confirmed, we will only change the price for reasons stated in the proposal, such as changes in official taxes, entrance fees or fuel surcharges imposed by carriers, and we will tell you in writing before your departure.
5. Changes and cancellations by you
If you want to change or cancel a confirmed booking, tell us in writing. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but they depend on availability and may involve costs charged by hotels, airlines and other suppliers. Cancellation charges are set out in your proposal and increase as the departure date approaches, reflecting the costs we cannot recover. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation.
6. Changes and cancellations by us
We plan every journey carefully, but we may occasionally have to change part of an itinerary — for example because of weather, safety, strikes, the closure of a site or a decision of an authority. Where a change is significant, we will offer you an alternative of equal or higher standard, or a refund of the affected services. If a group departure does not reach the minimum number of travellers stated in the proposal, we may cancel it and will offer you another date or a full refund of the amounts you have paid.
7. Your responsibilities
Hold a passport valid for the whole journey and any visas required for Türkiye, Greece or other countries on your itinerary.
Tell us before booking about any medical condition, mobility, dietary or other needs that may affect your participation, so we can advise you and inform our suppliers.
Follow the instructions of your guide and local regulations, arrive at meeting points on time, and respect the other members of the group and the places you visit.
Take out travel insurance covering medical expenses, repatriation, cancellation and baggage.
8. Our responsibility
We select our hotels, carriers, guides and other suppliers with care and are responsible for delivering the services confirmed in your booking. We are not liable for loss, damage or delay caused by you, by third parties unconnected with the services we provide, or by events beyond our reasonable control such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, civil unrest or official restrictions. Where international conventions or Turkish law limit the liability of carriers and hotels, our liability for their services is limited in the same way.
9. Complaints
If something is not right during your journey, tell your guide or call us straight away so we can try to fix it on the spot. If it cannot be resolved, please send us a written complaint within thirty days of the end of your journey and we will respond as quickly as possible.
10. Travel partners
Services we provide to tour operators, travel agencies and event organisers are governed by the separate contract or rate agreement signed with that partner; these Terms apply only where that agreement does not cover a matter.
11. Use of this website
The text, itineraries and photographs on this website belong to KAMPA Tours & Events or its licensors and may not be copied or used commercially without our written permission. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.
12. Governing law
These Terms and any booking with KAMPA are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
13. Contact
